Topshop Floral Kimono

Bowler Hat - H&M
Black Floral Kimono - Topshop
Pink Floral Skirt - Topshop
Black Flatform Sandals - Topshop

I wore this little outfit to work today, hence it nearly all being Topshop! I absolutely love this kimono, my addiction to them is rather out of control now but I just can't help it. I love the little floral embellishment and lace strip on the sleeves - so perfect! I got both the kimono and the floral skirt with my uniform allowance at work so I don't feel too bad about the splurge, urmmmm.
I have two days off work now so I plan on spending them getting organised for Glastonbury in just 12 days! I am also going for lunch with a friend tomorrow and hanging out at my friends house in London on Saturday, or a pub garden weather permitting! Hope everybody has a lush weekend!

Playlists: June - Glastonbury Edition (bloggers meet up)

I love music, I always have and I always will. It is a huge part of my life and has always been a big part of my blog. With my little shake up of appearance and types of posts I have decided a monthly 'Playlist' post would be the best way to filter that into my blog. I plan to each month do a round up of songs and artists who have made my ears prick up and skin creep with emotion.

This month however is Glastonbury month. I cannot tell you how excited I am to experience the festival for the first time ever after three failed attempts at getting a ticket, I genuinely feel like the music mothership is calling me home, or something to that effect. With such a huge and diverse line up I decided to pick just one song from each band I want to see on the line up to include in my playlist. Having said that I know Glastonbury is bigger than any festival I have ever experienced and if I only see The Rolling Stones and the Arctic Monkeys it will be a weekend very well spent.

All In White - The Vaccines
Two Fingers - Jake Bugg
Forever - Haim
The French Open - Foals
Dissolve Me - Alt - J
Elephant - Tame Impala
Hate To Say I Told You So - The Hives
Waveforms - Django Django
Still Life - The Horrors
Best Of Friends - Palma Violets
Honey - Swim Deep
Jumpin' Jack Flash - The Rolling Stones
The Wolves - Ben Howard
Control It - Azealia Banks
Motoring - TOY
Lanfill - Daughter
Roll Away Your Stone - Mumford and Sons

Myself and Leigh from Fox & Feather were also thinking about a little bloggers meet at Glastonbury. We were thinking maybe the Thursday when there is no music on, or another day and we could all go and see a band together. If you are interested let us know and leave your Twitter handle so we can organise. You can find me by clicking the grey 'Tweet' button below!

EDIT: Anybody who wants to come hang at Glasto we will be meeting at 2pm in the Brothers Cider Tent. Use the Twitter hashtag #GlastoBloggersMeet to see all the details!

Waiste Lazy Daisy Dungarees

Lazy Daisy Dungarees - Waiste
Polka Dot Crop Top - Topshop
Daisy Necklace - Topshop
Platform Sandals - Topshop
Fringed Bag - Primark

Anybody who has followed my blog for a while will know I am a big fan of Waiste's reworked and customised vintage. Sara who runs the brand is also the nicest and most super stylish sister going! I ordered the Lazy Daisy dungarees just before my birthday when Waiste was running a 10% off promotion and I am so glad I did. They fit me like an absolute dream and are just so perfect for these warm summer days we are having. I've worn them in numerous ways however was loving that they matched this Daisy necklace and just had to share.

I wore this little outfit on Saturday to my local village's yearly fete. My friend and I cycled down from my house to the fete before going on the fun fair rides, eating sweets and hot dogs, enjoying Pimm's O'clock and generally soaking up the atmosphere and sunshine. It was such a cute little day out! I've spent so much time in the sun this past week but don't feel tanned yet, dammit!

Oh My Love Feather Print Cut Out Maxi Dress

Black Boater Hat - ASOS
Fringed Leather Biker Jacket - Primak
Cut Out Feather Print Maxi Dress - c/o Oh My Love
Necklaces - Various/Handmade
Buckle Flatform Shoes - Topshop

After attending the Oh My Love blog event last week I was asked if I would like to feature a piece from the website on my blog. I instantly knew which item would ask for, the 'Cut Out Cutie Feather Print Chiffon Maxi Dress' which I have had my eye on for ages. I love not only the feather print pattern, but the cut out is such a gorgeous detail too. The splits up both sides to the knee make it such a comfortable dress which just flows around you in the breeze. It is safe to say I am currently in dress love!

While saving these pictures on my laptop I realised I hadn't done an outfit post such March, wowee! I feel a bit more comfortable with my style at the moment so hopefully there will be lots more to come for you guys. I actually really enjoyed taking these snaps and playing with the light as the sun came down today. I am excited to blog again - hurrah!

Hope everybody has had a right lusho day in the sun, I know I have but more on that another day.

When you're 24 and young and bored...

Waiste Goodies // Millies Cookie // Birthday Outfit
Birthday Picnic // Colin Caterpillar Cake // Cakes
Blogging Babes // Flippin The Bird // Haim
Wagamama Walrus // Fairy Cake // Fairy Face
Party Times // Birthday Spread // Friends

It was my 24th Birthday last week, happy birthday to meeeeee etc! I had a super fun time doing lots of different things with lots of my favourite people.

On my actual Birthday I had a picnic come tea party in our garden with the fam-a-lam before heading off into London to the Oh My Love blogging event. I wore some of my new Waiste threads which I absolutely adore! After the blog event I headed to Camden to see Haim who were unreal. I cannot wait for their album to come out and to see them again at Glastonbury! On Friday I had Wagamama's with my work gals who surprised me with a very loud chorus of 'Happy Birthday' and a cake in the middle of the restaurant, cuties. Saturday I went to London again to see some of my favourite babes. Spotting Farris from The Horrors in Dalston three times (I think he's stalking me) we then headed to Camden to my friends flats for pre drinkies, nibbles and another birthday cake. I got four this year, count it. We then danced the night away in Camden and I had the most fun ever singing 5ive, Oasis and all the classics on the bus there with the Police singing along too, haha.

All in all I think these snaps showed I had a banger ranger of a birthday so huge thanks to everybody who helped me celebrate it!
